Sultan Abdul Samad Building A stately, historic building rich in character, this Moorish-inspired building, topped by a shiny copper dome and a 40m high clock tower, is a major landmark in the city. The Supreme Court and the Textile Museum now occupy this heritage building.
Batu Caves Just 13km north of the city, the huge Batu Caves are among KL s best-known tourist attractions. The main cave, a vast open space known as the Temple Cave - is reached by a 272-step climb. Beyond the stairs is the main temple. There are several other smaller caves in the same formation, including one with elaborately painted Hindu figures.
Kuala Lumpur Tower Situated atop Bukit Nanas in the vicinity of Kl s hotel district, this 421 m high concrete tower is Asia s tallest and the fourth tallest in the world. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from its observation deck as well as the revolving restaurant.
Masiid Jamek Situated at the confluence of the Klang and Combak Rivers, the mosque forms a startling contrast against the modern buildings behind it. It is the oldest mosque in the city & features graceful arches and domes, reminiscent of the Moorish era.
Merdeka Square The site where the Malaysian flag was first raised in 1957. Aptly, today it s where the tallest flagpole in the world stands.
Railway Station Built in1911 under the British rule, of Moorish design and architecture it is an impressive building.

Pulau Payar Marine Park The marine park comprises four islands, namely Pulau Payar, Pulau Lembu, Pulau Segantang and Pulau Kaca. The islands are surrounded by well-protected coral reefs that are home to numerous species of underwater creatures.
Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls Located in the northwest corner of Pulau Langkawi, Telaga Tejuh (Seven Wells) is a geological marvel. The waterfall is so named because the cascading water is broken by a series of seven natural pools. The lush green forest that surrounds the waterfall adds a mystical touch to the splendor.
Underwater World Langkawi Set on 6.2 acres of land on the superbly landscaped beachfront of Pantai Cenang, Underwater World is one of the largest marine and freshwater aquaria in Asia. It features over 5,000 varieties of fish and other exhibits from 500 species displayed in over 100 tanks. Highlights include the gigantic hexagonal tank and walk-through tunnel tank containing six million liters of seawater. Here you can observe sharks, stingrays, huge turtles and other sea creatures swim by, separated from you only by the laminated clear glass walls of the tunnel.
Aquabeat This is the country s first indoor water theme park. It cover s four hectares and is located next to the Langkasuka Beach Resort at Kuala Muda. Its wide range of water based activities feature action packed rides designed for the more adventurous, in search of thrills and spills.
