Kochi (or Cochin as it was better known) has been rightly eulogised as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea"! Chosen as one of the world s 50 destinations by the National Geographic this year, it is a sensual and cultural delight.
A coastline brimming with life and coconut trees, alluring backwaters, Ayurveda, art of living and women in cream and gold saris with jasmine garlands, the classic arts of Kallaripatyu and Kathakali and the theatre performances and film screenings make a stay in Kochi an out of this world experience. Add to this the fact that it is also a cosmopolitan city.
