Diu Fort Built between 1535 and 1541 by the Portuguese, this historic fort is on the edge of the island and is skirted on three sides by the blue-green ocean. The view from the fort is fabulous. The lighthouse inside adds a certain charm to the place.
Diu Museum The Diu St Thomas Church has been converted into a museum. It houses various artefacts, Catholic statues and religious paintings of great interest.
Nagoa Beach 7 km from town, it is semi-circular in shape. Various water sports facilities are available here.
Jallandhar Beach It is situated south of Diu town. The Jallandhar shrine is located on a hillock close to the beach. This is a very popular place among tourists.
Chakratirth Beach The hill and the surrounding areas and landscape have been beautifully illuminated. Centrally located, it s an ideal place for a break.
Fortress at Panikota Approximately one nautical mile from the Diu jetty, this fortress has a lighthouse and a peaceful chapel.
Gangeshwar Temple Situated in Fudam village, Gangeshwar Temple has a Shivalinga (Gangeshwar) washed by waves from the sea
St Paul s Church One of the oldest churches in Diu, it was built in the year 1610. The most elaborate of all Portuguese churches here, it has some excellent paintings.
