The French capital is one of the most stimulating cities on earth. Although described countless times, words still fail to capture the exact quality that renders Paris enduringly seductive.
Cathédrale de Notre-Dame A Gothic masterpiece with three stunning rose windows. Visitors have to climb the 387 spiral steps to the top of the 75m-north tower. The views over the River Seine and the city centre are well worth the effort. There is also a Treasury with various liturgical objects on display.
Musée National du Louvre The world s most famous works of art live here, including the Mona Lisa, the statute of Venus de Milo, the ancient Winged Victory, and thousands of other priceless works many of which originally were collected privately by French royalty throughout history and donated to the museum.
Champs Elysées It is one of the most famous streets in the world, with its cinemas, cafés, and luxury specialty shops. At the very heart of Paris, it is one of the most symbolic places in the city, representative of its spirit and glory.
Arc de Triomphe The Arc de Triomphe is built on the model of ancient Triumphal Arches, but it stands alone because of its monumental size: 50 meters tall and 45 meters wide. This has come to be a world recognized symbol of French national pride. From the top observation deck you can get a great view of most of the famous museums and landmarks of central Paris, as well as the city s main boulevard.
Basilique du Sacre-Coeur The dome affords the best view of Paris, especially at night just as the lights are coming on. This 19th century cathedral also has an observation platform on the inside of the dome where you can get a full view of the church s interior.
Eiffel Tower One of the Seven Wonders of the World & for years was the tallest structure in the world. This engineering marvel affords a view of over 40 miles, weather permitting, and includes a movie theater, restaurants and a bar. Built originally in 1899 as a temporary exhibition structure, the Eiffel Tower remained when Paris discovered its utility as a citywide communications tower.
Parc Zoologique de Paris The best way to get to one of the great zoos of Europe is by Metro, which has its own stop here. This is a habitat-style zoo, no cages, and offers a great opportunity to see wild animals truly at home. Many activities, children s programs and refreshment alternatives in the area also augment the experience, well worth a day s investment.
Chateau de Versailles This palace of Louis XIV, the Sun King is where the staff gathered to witness the levee of the rising monarch every morning. About 13 miles southwest of downtown Paris, plan to spend the entire day touring the palace, exotic vegetable, fruit and flower gardens, and enjoy dinner at one of the special neighboring restaurants. Keep your car at the hotel, and use one of the many convenient public transportation or hotel shuttle alternatives available.
Disneyland Park Situated at a distance of around 40km from central Paris provides first class entertainment for adults and children alike. In the Disneyland Park, discover the fun, fantasy and excitement of the 5 lands: Frontier land, Adventure land, Fantasyland, Discovery land and Main Street USA.

Paris is well equipped in the area of public transport. The easiest way to get around Paris is by the metro (subway) which runs daily from 5:30am-12: 30am.
A special tourist bus (the Balabus) operates on Sundays and holidays from April-September, circling the main tourist sites. The bus system is easy to use; bus stops display the buses that stop there & the map shows all the stops on the route and bus times. Most buses run Monday to Saturday 0630-2100, some continue until 2430. Services are reduced by about half on Sunday and bank holidays.
