Day 01: Cochin Arrival
Arrive at Cochin Airport. You will be met and assisted by a Travel House representative in transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast proceed for a full day sight seeing tour of Cochin City. Visit the following places:
• Chinese Fishing Nets / Vasco Da Gama Square: These huge cantilevered fishing nets are the legacy of one of the first visitors to the Malabar Coast.
• Vasco House: Believed to have been the residence of Vasco da Gama, this is one of the oldest Portuguese residences in Fort Kochi.
• VOC Gate: The large wooden gate facing the Parade Ground, with the monogram ‘VOC’ of the once mighty Dutch East India Company carved on it, was built in 1740.
• Willingdon Island: Named after Lord Willingdon, a former British Viceroy of India, this man-made island is surrounded by beautiful backwaters.
• Santhanagopala-Krishnaswamy Temple: The original foundations of this temple were laid in 947 A.D. according to the inscriptions found here.
In the evening watch a Live Kathakali Show (Dance & Drama performance). Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Cochin – Munnar (130kms/3hrs)
After breakfast drive to Munnar. On arrival check into the hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour to the following places:
• Tea Gardens and Factory – Collection of old bits and pieces from the colonial era can be seen here. Demonstration of tea production. Information on machinery, tea processing and tea tasting.
• CSI Church – A church built of stone in 1910. It has fine stained glass windows and brass plaques.
• Mattupetty – 14 Km from Munnar, Mattupetty Dam has an agriculture garden on its banks.
• Devikulam – Devikulam is an out-of-the-world experience among exotic flora and fauna, cool mountain air and velvet lawns. An idyllic hill station, Devikulam is located at a distance of around 7 km from Munnar.
• Echo Point – As its name suggests, the place has a natural echo phenomenon. It is situated at a distance of around 15 km from Munnar on the way to Top Station.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04: Munnar – Periyar (106kms/2hrs20min)
After breakfast take a ride through the Eravikulam National Park. Trekking here can perhaps give you a glimpse of the Nilgiri Tahr, the rarely seen mountain goat. Later drive to Periyar. On arrival check into the hotel. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel

Day 05: Periyar
After breakfast drive to the Periyar National Park. Take a boat ride though the whole Wildlife Sanctuary.
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves – the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978.
After the boat ride proceed for a sightseeing tour. Visit the following places:
• Spice Plantation Tour – Take a walk along the panorama of cardamom and pepper plantations.
• Mangala Devi Temple – It lies hidden in the dense woods at the top of a peak 1337 m above sea level. Mangala Devi Temple, is located 15 kms from Thekkady
• Kumily – This plantation town is an important shopping centre and a spice trade centre.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 06: Periyar – Kumarakom (145kms/3hrs30min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom. On arrival check into the hotel.
An exclusive attraction of this much sought after backwater resort is the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is an ornithologist's paradise and a favorite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal.
A cruise along the Vembanad Lake is the best way to view the bird life. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight will be at the hotel |

Day 07: Kumarakom – Alleppey (By Houseboat)
After breakfast transfer to a Deluxe Houseboat. Cruise along Kerala’s scenic backwaters – an unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and rivers – are an integral part of Kerala’s tourism scenario. Relishing the traditional Kerala cuisine and dishes made from local fish, served by the crewmembers, the houseboats takes one on a fascinating cruise at a leisurely and relaxing pace. Overnight stay will be on the houseboat. |

Day 08: Alleppey – Kovalam (175kms/4hrs30min)

After breakfast drive to Kovalam. On arrival check into the hotel. The day will be mostly at leisure. Spend the evening at the Kovalam beach.
About Kovalam Beach
This unique, internationally renowned, wonderful beach takes pride of place amongst the loveliest beaches in the world and has been a favorite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. Today, Kovalam has become one of the most popular beach hangouts in India. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and truly the coconut trees along the beaches gives it a ravishing look.

Day 09: Kovalam (Excursion to Trivandrum)
Excursion to Trivandrum)
After breakfast proceed for an excursion tour to Trivandrum (16kms from Kovalam). Visit the famous Fort, which houses the Shri Padmanabhaswamy Vishnu Temple. The fort gateway leads to the temple, which is surprisingly enough, in the Dravidian style of architecture, typical of Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines, and is dedicated, to the presiding deity of Thiruvananthapuram, Lord Vishnu.
Return to Kovalam. Spend the evening at the beach or take a drive through the local area. Overnight will be at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. The day will be free for own activities. Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 11: Kovalam – Trivandrum (16kms/30min) – Cochin (By Air) – Onward Journey

After breakfast transfer to the Trivandrum Airport to board the flight to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin Airport and board the flight for onward destination. |
