DAY 01:
You are met on arrival and transferred to your Hotel.
DAY 02:
During the morning excursion, across the harbour you will see the world famous Elephanta Caves - 1200 years old and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The famous sculpture signifying the Trinity of the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer is situated here.
The city’s long association with the British is reflected in the old world charm of its buildings made in the Indo-Saracen style. Some of the well-known landmarks are the Gateway of India at Apollo Bunder overlooking the harbour.
Half day city tour of Mumbai will include a visit to the Prince of Wales Museum, Marine drive, Mani Bhawan (Gandhi House), Flora Fountain, Kamla Nehru Park and finally to the Hanging gardens.
DAY 03:
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Goa, on arrival check-in at your beach hotel, rest of the day free for leisure at the beach, overnight stay.
DAY 04:
In the morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Goa which is 82 miles of coastline, with silver sands and some of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Palm fringed rivers move lazily down to the Arabian Sea. Lush green with rice paddies, mango groves, jack fruit orchards, whitewashed villas and easy going people, all combine to make Goa the precious Pearl of the Orient. Visit world famous Churches Basilica of Bom Jesus, St. Cajetan Church & Cathedral. Also visit some of the finest beaches of Goa.
DAY 05:
Day for leisure at the beach.
DAY 06:
Morning free for leisure at the beach and later transfer to airport for your flight to Bangalore, on arrival at Bangalore you will be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 07:
Morning sightseeing tour of Bangalore, one of the most pleasant cities of India takes in the central area which is studded with beautifully laid out parks, gardens, wide tree-lined avenues, imposing buildings and lively bazaars. Bangalore is famous for the Vidhan Soudha which is one of the Indias most spectacular buildings, built in granite in the neo-Dravidian style of architecture.
Later proceed to Hassan by coach (190 km / 5 hrs), enroute visit Shravanbelgola, a small village nestled between two hillocks - the Vindhyagiri and the Chandragiri.
Arrive Hassan and check-in at the hotel, later visit Belur & Halebid.
Belur - Situated on the banks of river Yagachi, Belur was the capital of the Hoysala Empire 800 years ago, before it was shifted to Dwarasamudram (Halebid). Belur is a small town basking in the glory of one of the greatest monuments of medieval India - the 12th century Chennakesava Temple at Belur commemorates the victory of the Hoysalas over the Cholas in the great battle of Talakad. The exterior is covered with a variety of intricately-carved sculptures and friezes. The interior contains exquisite panels and richly carved pillars. A tall stone pillar in the temple courtyard is balanced, amazingly, only by its centre of gravity.
Halebid - Halebid was the ancient capital of Hoysala Empire, then known as Dwarasamudra, was founded in the early 11th century AD. It was raised by the armies of the Delhi Sultanate in 1311 and 1327. Deserted afterwards, Dwarasamudra came to be called Halebid or the Old Capital. Of the many buildings of this ancient city, only a few have survived Muslim invasion. Notable among them is the imposing Hoysaleswara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening return to hotel.
Day 08:
After breakfast, drive towards Coorg - the dreamland of the philosopher, Coorg is the dreamland of the philosopher, Coorg is beautiful hill country, Coorgs mist covered hills are still waiting to be discovered, on arrival check-in at your resort hotel, rest of the day free for leisure.
Day 09:
After breakfast proceed to Mysore (120 km / 3 hrs), on arrival check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Mysore. Mysore sightseeing includes a visit to the Maharajas palace, the palace built in Indo-Sarcenic style. It is profusely decorated and gilded and has a solid jewel studded golden throne. The Jaganmohan palace converted into Art Gallery in 1875 exhibits paintings, which date back to that period. Visit fabled Brindavan gardens with its dancing fountains. These breathtaking gardens, with their colorful lights are an important visitor attraction.
Day 10:
After breakfast, an excursion to Chamundi Hills. Pearched at a height of 1050 mts. This place is the abode of the Goddess Chamundeshwari. A charming quadrangular structure with a towering 40 mts high gopuram is a landmark from several miles. Evening enjoy an excursion to Somnathpur. Overnight at Mysore
Day 11: After breakfast transfer to Bangalore airport en-route visiting Srirangapattna, summer Palace of Tipu Sultan, is an island fortress encircled by river Cauvery. High stone walls and moats enclose temples, palaces and a great mosque, board your flight to Mumbai, on arrival at Mumbai you will be transferred to International airport for your flight to onward destination.
