Day 01: Leh Arrival
Arrive at Leh airport. You will be met and assisted by a Travel House representative, reach and check into the hotel. Welcome tea or coffee offered upon arrival at the hotel. Complete rest is advised for the day in order to acclimatise your body for the high altitude. After lunch, a gentle walk around Leh town includes a visit to Leh Market and the Leh Palace. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Deskit
After breakfast leave by 0900 hrs to drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft). Reach Deskit (Nubra Valley) by afternoon, rest of the day free for exploring Deskit and Hundur villages, Two-humped Camel (Dromedary) Safari on the sand dunes between Deskit and Hundur village. Overnight stay will be at a hotel at Deskit (Nubra Valley).

Day 03: Deskit – Leh
After breakfast leave by 1000 hrs to proceed for sightseeing and visit Panamik (hot water springs). Later visit:
• Buddhist Monastery – Deskit is famous for its 515 year old Buddhist monastery, lying magnificently atop a hill, facing the entire valley; the breathtaking view of almost the entire valley from the top would be a lifetime experience.
• Hunder – Also visit Hunder and its temple at a distance of 5 km from Deskit.
Drive back to Leh by the same route over the Khardungla Pass. Overnight stay will be at the hotel at Leh.

Day 04: Leh – Alchi
After breakfast drive to Alchi, enroute visit Basgo Palace and Liker Monastery and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Arrive Alchi by afternoon. Check into the hotel. Visit:
• Basgoo Palace – Basgoo "Basgoo Rabtan Chartsekher", west of Leh was built by kings Jamyang Namgyal and Singey Namgyal in the 16th Century AD. Singey Namgyal made three-story copper gilt statues of the Maitriya Buddha, as a memorial to his father, Jamyang Namgyal.
• Pathar Sahib Gurudwara – Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Leh (Ladakh) was built by Buddhist lamas nearly five centuries ago to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion, to Ladakh. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is visited by Hindu and Sikh devotees, apart from tourists.
• Alchi Gompa – Alchi Gompa of Ladakh, at a distance of 67 kms from Leh, dates back to the year 1000 A.D. Built by Rinchen Zangpo, it consists of a number of temples including Rinchen Lhakhang and Lotsa Lhakhang.

Day 05: Alchi – Kargil
After breakfast leave for Dha Hanu (A beautiful Aryan village) Drokpa Region. Leave for Kargil via Sanjak, reach Kargil.
• Dah Hanu - Dah and Hanu are places on the far side of the great Indus River beyond Leh. Surrounded by the great Hindu-Kush Mountains and peopled by a hardy but gentle people who have a bank of strange legends to relate to weary travellers.
Overnight stay will be at a hotel at Kargil.

Day 06: Kargil – Padum Early morning leave for a nine-hour drive to Padum (Zanskar) where you can have a magnificent view of Nun Kun and Dran Drung Glacier. En-route visit Rangdum, Pentse La Pass and reach Padum by evening.
• Rangdum Situated 3657 m above sea level is situated at the remotest and most isolated region of the Suru valley. On one side can be seen colourful hills while on the other side are rocky mountains and glaciers
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Padum. |

Day 07: Padum After breakfast depart for a full day sightseeing of Karsha, Stongdey and Sani. Drive back to Padum by evening.
• Karsha Monastry The Karsha Monastery of Ladakh is situated in the Karsha village of the Zanskar region. The full name of Karsha, the largest monastery of Zanskar, is Karsha Chamspaling. Phagspa Shesrab, the translator of Zanskar first founded this monastery. The monastery, as it stands today, was the result of the efforts of the Teacher, Dorje Shesrab. Under him the monastery flourished and prospered. Shesrab Zangpo of Stod was the one to introduce the Gelukpa Order into the Karsha Gompa of Leh.

Day 08: Padum – Kargil After breakfast return to Kargil by the same route.
• Lamayuru Monastry. Founded by the Indian scholar Mahasiddhacharya Naropa in the 11th century (allegedly on the site of a dried-up lake), after spending many years meditating, Lamayuru is the one of the largest and also one of the oldest gompas in Ladakh and has a population of around 150 permanently resident monks. It has, in the past, housed up to 400 monks, many of who are now based in gompas in surrounding villages.

Day 09: Kargil - Leh After breakfast depart for Leh; enroute visit Mulbek
• Mulbek gompa, the main monastery of the area is perched atop a rocky hill that dominates the valley below. It is easy to see why in the past, this site served as an outpost to guard the caravan route between Kashmir and Ladakh. Visit Basgo Palace and reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.

Day 10: Leh – Tso Moriri
After breakfast Leave for Tsomoriri Lake (approx 240 Kms) via Push, Chumathang (Hot Spring). In the evening take a walk around the lake to enjoy the scenic beauty.
Tso Moriri – a High Altitude Lake, it is situated at a height of 4595 m above MSL. Tsomiri is the largest of the High Altitude Lakes to be situated entirely within India. The Korzok Monastery, which lies on the western bank of the lake, is one of the oldest settlements in the world.

Day 11: Tso Moriri - Leh
After a leisurely breakfast, walk around the lake and drive to back to Leh. Overnight will be at the hotel. |

Day 12: Leh
At 0500 hrs drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Lunch will be at Tangtse. Visit Pangong Lake and drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh by evening.
• Pangong Lake: Pangong Tso can be reached by a five-hour drive from Leh – most of it on a rough and dramatic mountain road. The road traverses the third-highest pass in the world, the Changla Pass where army sentries and a small teahouse greet visitors.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 13: Leh – Onward Destination
Morning departure transfer will be at the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for your next destination. |
